Pilu, a renowned fine dining restaurant overlooking Freshwater Beach, wanted to create a unique Mother’s Day experience that went beyond a traditional lunch.
The Vision
Their goal was to offer something hands-on and memorable for mothers and daughters to enjoy together — an experience that would align with Pilu’s premium aesthetic and create lasting memories alongside their acclaimed food.
The Experience
I partnered with Pilu to design an immersive sensory journey by the ocean. Guests were welcomed into the pavilion to the scent of natural perfumes in the air and enjoyed drinks on arrival.
I guided attendees through a natural perfumery workshop, sharing stories of perfumery history and the benefits of 100% natural ingredients. Each guest created their own 9ml roll-on natural perfume, and a luxurious bath soak in a glass jar to take home.
Our curated collection of perfumes was also on display for exploration and purchase, further extending the experience. After the workshop, guests transitioned into a beautiful long lunch prepared by Pilu, with canapés and dishes served against the backdrop of the ocean.
The Impact
Guests loved the combination of hands-on creativity and premium dining, describing it as a truly unique Mother’s Day celebration.
The workshop offered a memorable bonding moment for families, with each guest leaving with two bespoke creations.
